As a Survey Technician for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you will perform survey work relating to topography, boundary, and construction staking for commercial, institutional, solid waste, and energy clients. You’ll utilize AutoCAD to prepare ALTA surveys, easement exhibits, plats, and legal descriptions and other survey products under the supervision of a Professional Surveyor. You’ll work on land survey projects, operate instrumentation, clear brush, drive stakes, hold chains or rods, take notes, make sketches and clean equipment as needed. You’ll be responsible for utilizing various surveying programs to gather, retrieve, and interpret important data.
Here's What You'll Need:
- 3-5 year's experience performing survey computation;
- Experience with ALTA surveys;
- Boundary computation experience;
- Ability to perform geodetic control computations;
Here's What We'd Like to See:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Engineering, or Geomatics;
- Familiarity with Trimble equipment, Survey Controller, and Trimble Business Center;
- Experience with AutoCAD;
- Experience working with Engineers in a consulting environment.
