As a Civil Engineer for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you’ll work with project teams to create site development design plans, permit application packages for a variety of projects, and evaluate sites in the areas of drainage, flooding, access, and cost of development. We create development plans for our solid waste and energy clients. You’ll take part in designing site layouts, grading plans, stormwater management facilities, water quality best management practices, and utilities. You'll also assist in preparing site authorization applications for local and state jurisdictions. You'll be interacting with clients, contractors, and local government officials. You’ll impact the whole project - from conceptual and design phases, through the regulatory review process, bidding, and construction.
Here's What You'll Need:
- 2-4 years' experience;
- BS/MS in Civil Engineering;
- EIT or Professional Engineering License;
- Ability to speak and write professionally.
Here's What We'd Like To See:
- Experienced in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Excel, Word, HEC-RAS and other computer modeling software a plus;
- Local connections with developers, architects, energy clients, or other land development arenas.
