CEC Tempe was established in early 2023 as an extension of our Phoenix operations.

We serve solid waste, manufacturing, mining, real estate, and public sector clients with services that include design, permitting, construction quality assurance, project management, environmental consulting, regulatory compliance, and air quality permitting. In January 2018, we acquired Erickson & Meeks Engineering, a small, highly respected civil site design firm in Phoenix known for engineering some of the largest and most prestigious commercial development projects in the Valley of the Sun. In November 2023, we acquired Engineering and Environmental Consultants, Inc. (EEC), an established firm with expertise in the areas of environmental services, flood control and drainage, site development, land surveying, transportation, and water and wastewater.

CEC is ranked #20 on Phoenix Business Journal’s Largest Phoenix-Area Engineering Firms list.

CEC Tempe fosters a culture of client-first service and professional development for our employees. Our growth is indicative of our success in building trusted relationships with our clients and a promising future for our colleagues. We provide a fast-paced collaborative work environment that sees seasoned industry experts mentoring and developing young professionals. We’re a laid-back, close-knit group that enjoys monthly happy hours, bagel Wednesdays, and occasional outings to Arizona Diamondbacks and Arizona Cardinals games.

Our Culture

Nothing builds a better team than working together to give back and make our communities better. We contribute to the development and design of youth ballfields as part of the Arizona Diamondbacks Back Field Building Program, which allows children from across Arizona to play baseball and softball at quality facilities. Every year, we also participate in NAIOP Arizona’s barbecue event, “Networking with a Cause,” to feed approximately 500 homeless individuals at Human Services Campus in Phoenix. In addition, we offer outreach and educational opportunities for children, serve dinner at homeless shelters, participate in water and food drives, pack meals at St. Mary’s Food Bank, and take part in charitable walk/run events.
