Mr. Widner is responsible for business development and marketing in both traditional and nontraditional O&M markets, project oversight and contract review. Mr. Widner also is responsible for implementing sampling and O&M programs at solid waste facilities across the United States and Puerto Rico. Mr. Widner fosters the use of field procedures to acquire high quality defensible data for landfill gas and monitoring projects. In addition he is responsible for developing streamlined approaches to environmental sampling and O&M to maximize cost efficiency and allow competitive pricing strategies for these activities.
Mr. Widner has more than 24 years of professional experience supervising the installation and construction of LFG collection and monitoring systems, including probes, extraction wells, piping systems, condensate management systems, blowers, flares and ancillary systems. Michael supervised initial system start-up and balancing, as wells as long-term system operation, monitoring and maintenance. He prepared LFG system operation, monitoring, and maintenance manuals and provided operator training to landfill owners and operators; proficient in the use of field instrumentation required to conduct environmental monitoring for site compliance and to monitor the effectiveness of landfill gas systems. These systems include portable gas detection and gas chromatography equipment, pressure monitoring equipment, and gas sampling equipment.
