Solid Waste Webinar Series: Exploration and Production Landfill Waste Stability

August 25, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm EDT

Free
Solid Waste Webinar Series

This webinar will address the increased disposal of exploration and production (E&P) waste in permitted landfills for the U.S. oil and gas industry. Regarding this issue, the engineering community has provided conservative estimates, with very little empirical data, to address concerns related to landfill stability.  Learn about related parameters such as shear strength, density, etc., that are used in engineering analyses to predict or determine issues, such as slope stability or bearing capacity, for E&P waste landfills as well as proposed filling methods.

1 PDH available upon completion of this course.

About CEC’s Solid Waste Webinar Series: Learn from our experts and earn your CEUs through our series of virtual events where you will learn about topics such as PFAS issues, landfill stability and stormwater management.
