Cleaning Streams

October 16, 2018

Our Toledo office participated in a stream-cleaning event called Clean Your Streams. Jim Adams, Nick Bohland, Tom Covrett, Zach Dobey, Jeremy Heyerly, and Aaron Lowell, along with their family members, assisted in cleaning along a road at the top of a bank that leads to the Maumee River in downtown Toledo. Deanna Bobak also volunteered for the event with her daughter, serving as a leader at another site through her involvement with the host organization. In addition to finding tires, car parts, lumber, boots, signs, hairnets, cigarettes, and various recyclables, the group estimates they gathered more than 200 pounds of trash to fill 16 bags!
