Just Published: Four CEC Leaders in Survey, UAS, and CAD Scan Historical Sites in Italy

Don Groesser, P.L.S., CEC’s Survey/Geospatial Practice Lead, of CEC Pittsburgh; Rick Celender, R.L.A., CPESC, CPSWQ, CEC’s Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Program Leader, of CEC Pittsburgh; Rob Sinclair, CEC’s CAD Technology Manager, of CEC Pittsburgh; and Matt Bainbridge, E.I.T., a survey project manager, of CEC Bridgeport have been part of a workshop scanning and digitizing (and thus, historically preserving) historical sites and artifacts in Volterra, Italy. They authored this article in The American Surveyor about their two trips thus far.
