Just Published: Thoughts on Standards and the Pennsylvania Manual of Practice

January 2, 2020

Don Groesser, PLS, CEC’s corporate Survey/Geospatial Practice Lead, published an editorial, “Thoughts on Standards and the Pennsylvania Manual of Practice,” in the Fall 2019 issue of The Pennsylvania Surveyor. The article covers his recommendations for Pennsylvania to use minimum surveying standards—after all, 44 states have enacted minimum standards, so there are plenty of good examples to draw from. Professional surveyors have an opportunity to leave the profession stronger than it was when they entered it. See pages 8–11 here.
