CEC Greenville is excited to welcome Karuiam Booker to the team as a Project Manager I in our Civil Engineering practice. Karuiam has more than nine years of experience in public sector work. His most recent position was with the South Carolina Department of Transportation as a Project Manager and their Assistant District Inspection Engineer. His past experiences give him great insight into road management, road funding, infrastructure maintenance, and more. A fun fact about Karuiam is that he is the youngest elected member of the District 2 city council in Greer, South Carolina, a close neighbor of Greenville. He also loves to play piano and actively participates in community service projects.
Karuiam has a bachelor’s degree from Clemson University in civil engineering with an emphasis in water resources. He is a certified Engineer in Training in South Carolina and is a member of the Municipal Association of South Carolina and the South Carolina Economic Development Association.
