Terry Lawson, E.I.T., joins CEC Houston as a Project Manager III in our Air Quality practice. She has more than 33 years of experience as an expert in air quality, waste management, and water resources.

Terry has extensive technical experience in environmental/regulatory compliance in numerous states, often negotiating with federal and state environmental agencies. She has managed several projects in the environmental, health, and safety field with additional background in the development of standard operating procedures, contract management, and audit training.

Terry has two master’s degrees in environmental engineering and environmental science from the University of Houston and a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Texas A&M University – Kingsville. She is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.

CEC Houston was established in April 2019 with the hiring of Harold Barber, a native Houstonian. The office specializes in the solid waste and oil & gas market sectors with experience in permitting and compliance work with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and the Texas Railroad Commission. In addition to our primary practice areas, we also offer geotechnical engineering services and landfill gas operations and maintenance (O&M) services.
