CEC Sacramento was a proud sponsor for the Project Lifelong Big Dogs Skate Night event to kick off their Big Day of Giving fundraising campaign. CEC donated $500 to create SWAG bags to give out to all of the students that came out to skateboard. The Skate Night event was able to raise just over $14,000, with an overall fundraising goal of $50,000.
Project Lifelong is a Sacramento-area nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young individuals, primarily 11-17 years old, through unique and experiential programs aimed at fostering their social, mental, and physical well-being. By blending the thrill of healthy outdoor experiences such as skateboarding, camping, hiking, and surfing, with a well-structured and supportive community, participants develop lifelong passions and skills, boost their self-confidence through Social Emotional Learning (SEL), and acquire a profound sense of connection and belonging.
