Mr. Smith has over 36 years of experience in providing technical and managerial services associated with completing site investigations, remediation, and hydrogeologic investigations for a variety of environmental and water resource applications in a wide range of geologic settings.  His experiences include the design, implementation and management of a wide array of projects involving remedial investigations and conventional and innovative remedial actions to address organic and inorganic impacts to the environment.  Additional experiences include oversight and management of the design and installation of cap systems, erosion and sediment control structures, sub-slab soil gas collection and treatment systems, residual waste landfill grading, capping and closure, karst geologic condition assessment and actions to stabilize and remediate sinkhole development; completing Corrective Measures and Feasibility Studies, conducting watershed and source water evaluations of spring discharges for potential use in the bottled water industry, managing and completing environmental compliance evaluations, and hydrogeologic characterization and overall permit application preparation for solid waste disposal facilities.
