ETC: Introduction to OSHA Regulatory Requirements

This course will introduce you to basic OSHA regulatory requirements. The class will cover fundamental requirements such as; basic OSHA guidelines for safe work practices, employee training requirements, chemical exposure and monitoring, chemical right to know guidelines and ergonomic issues. This course will also highlight interactions with OSHA for both inspections and compliance.

About CEC’s Environmental Training Courses (CEC/ETC): CEC/ETC was created to educate and keep our clients and others in the industrial/commercial community up-to-date on regulatory programs that affect them. The program is structured around a group of core environmental regulatory topics that cover the basic needs of attendees in the regulatory areas of air, water, and waste management compliance.

Webinars will only be offered for Spring 2020 courses. Fall 2020 courses will resume in-person.

Electronic course materials, handouts and the webinar information will be emailed on the date of the scheduled course. CEU certificates will be emailed individually once the course is completed.

Victor Bell
Victor Bell has more than 25 years of experience managing Environmental, Health and Safety Operations to meet the needs of private companies and government agencies. He has extensive experience with various industries, including chemical and petroleum production, chemical waste operations, chemical recycling and manufacturing and high hazard manufacturing operations. He has extensively assisted companies with environmental remediation and emergency response activities. Victor has expertise in the development of development and enhancement of a company’s environmental management and health and safety programs. He has designed and developed EHS training programs in high hazard industries which have resulted in significant reductions of site injuries and incidents. He has developed company-wide Behavior Based Safety training programs and site audit programs to reduce company operational deficiencies. Victor designed and developed a perimeter air monitoring program for a Superfund site adjacent to a city high school to verify compliance and minimal impact to that school. This program was written up and printed by the USEPA as a training guide for their field personnel.  He managed environmental emergency response operations working for USEPA, Illinois EPA, Drug Enforcement Administration, Federal Aviation Administration as well as numerous railroads, trucking companies and industries. Victor has worked at facilities with significant emissions inventories, emissions reporting and ambient air monitoring programs.
