Mr. Gelaye is a Vice President in CEC's Columbus office and leads the Oil and Gas Market Group for CEC’s Ohio operations. He is a licensed professional geologist and a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control. He brings more than twenty four years of practical experience and in-depth knowledge of engineering, scientific and standard practices, as well as applicable Federal and State environmental regulations related to Oil and Gas and Natural Gas Liquids infrastructure development projects. Over the last several years Mr. Gelaye has been directly involved in and has been in charge of numerous oil and gas infrastructure development projects for both exploration/production, midstream and transmission companies. He has a record of demonstrated competence, in leading oil and gas site work efforts to design and permit well pads, impoundments, access roads, midstream and downstream infrastructures such as pipelines and compressor stations. These efforts included site layout, grading and earthwork, stormwater management, erosion and sedimentation control design and inspection services, and pipeline routing assistance. Mr. Gelaye also has diverse experience in broad facets of environmental permitting, engineering, land surveying, hydrogeology and environmental science, including site investigations and analysis, due diligence and compliance assessments.
