Mr. Hurt is a licensed Civil Engineer (PE) and certified Urban Planner (AICP). Using his Urban Planning experience, Mr. Hurt has helped author several redevelopment plans for underutilized communities.

Mr. Hurt is experienced in all aspects of civil engineering for land development projects including entitlement approvals, hydrology and hydraulics, grading and earthwork analysis, water distribution and sanitary sewer design, and erosion and sedimentation control. Project storm water management designs have included retention ponds, dry detention facilities, sustainable bio-swales and rain gardens, as well as underground methods that preserve valuable real estate. Mr. Hurt has been responsible for complete engineering design and preparation of construction documents, including technical review for constructability and compliance with applicable laws and codes.
