Bio

Mr. Kaupp has more than 46 years of broad-based Civil/Site Engineering and Project Management experience. In 1984, Mr. Kaupp became co-owner of an existing Landscape Architectural firm located in the greater Philadelphia area. He was responsible for developing the firm’s Civil/Site Engineering practice. The firm ceased operations in 2019. While working primarily in the Delaware Valley region, Mr. Kaupp has also developed projects along the eastern seaboard from Virginia to Maine.

Mr. Kaupp has experience in all aspects of the land development process. His core competencies include proposal preparation, proposal and design presentations, communicating with clients and regulatory agencies, project team leadership and consensus building, site planning, grading and earthwork design, storm water management, erosion control design and facilitating permit acquisitions. His experience with detailed design is a valuable asset when Clients are considering land development options. Mr. Kaupp enjoys managing complex projects and working on projects that have a restorative mission, such as urban landfill and adaptive re-use projects.

Mr. Kaupp has prepared permit applications and received regulatory approvals from Regulatory Agencies located along the eastern portion of the United States. Types of approvals include Zoning Permits, Land Development Approvals, Federal and State DEP approvals and State Highway Department approvals. He has also been receiving approvals for projects located in the City of Philadelphia, working closely with the Philadelphia City Planning Commission, Philadelphia Water Department and the Philadelphia Streets Department.
