Mr. Catron has over thirty years of experience with water quality studies, aquatic resources alteration permitting and regulatory compliance, ecological assessments, aquatic impact mitigation and pollutant investigations. He specializes in wetland delineation, stream and wetland mitigation and studies of aquatic ecosystems and geospatial data analysis. He is highly experienced with the sampling and identification of southeastern fish fauna and has participated in fresh and saltwater fisheries and benthic studies in Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Mississippi, Ohio, and Virginia. He has also participated in a broad range of environmental studies including stream temperature modeling, fish tissue collections associated with ecological assessments and with NPDES permit compliance, lead based paint assessments, groundwater and surface water sampling, storm water sampling, soil sampling, laboratory toxicity testing, RCRA facility assessments, Superfund investigations and remedial feasibility studies, and USEPA emergency response activities. He also serves as CEC’s Nashville Office GIS manager and is highly experienced with ESRI ArcGIS software and Trimble GPS equipment. Recently, Mr. Catron recently managed a NEPA EA and CWA permitting for a large flood control levee project in middle Tennessee. Currently Mr. Catron is managing CEC’s five year Environmental services contract for the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation. Under this contract multiple task orders have been issued for the Division of State Parks, The Division of Remediation, The Division of Air Pollution Control, and the Division of Solid Waste Management.
