Mr. Klann has more than 20 years of diverse experience providing civil engineering and site development services throughout Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, and Ohio. This experience includes preliminary site analysis, site demolition, site layout, grading, utility design and coordination, stormwater management and storm sewer design, erosion and sedimentation control, permitting, cost estimating, drawing preparation, report preparation, specifications, and coordination with project officials. He has extensive experience in municipal and county planning codes and procedures, as well as Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority (PWSA) permitting requirements and procedures. His project experience includes providing site development services for several commercial, retail, and institutional development projects; including redevelopment of dense urban and downtown properties.
Mr. Klann has been responsible for obtaining land development approvals and permits, including municipal permitting; Erosion and Sedimentation Control Permitting; National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permits for Discharge of Stormwater During Construction Activities; Erosion and Sediment Control General Permits for Oil and Gas (ESCGP); Sewage Facilities Planning Modules (SFPM); and City of Pittsburgh Land Operations Permits.
