Bio

Ms. Bobak is a seasoned water resources professional, with over 20 years of experience in watershed planning and water quality improvement projects. She has served as the lead technical writer of 75 Ohio EPA-approved Nonpoint Source-Implementation Strategies, also known as Nine-Element Plans, leading the state in authored plans. Her planning expertise has been used to develop habitat restoration, nutrient reduction and water quality improvement projects across the Western Lake Erie Basin and throughout other areas in Ohio. Ms. Bobak assists many municipal and conservation-minded clients, such as County Engineer Offices and Soil and Water Conservation Districts, in the pursuit of implementation funding through grant preparation, and she has helped clients secure over $5.6M from federal and state funding sources since 2017. She is well-versed in grant administration and reporting, having managed over $13M in federally-funded programs throughout her career. Prior to CEC employment, she was a vital member of teams that won national recognition for their outreach and educational project components. She is also experienced in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) mapping and data management, National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) compliance monitoring and permitting and sustainability initiatives. Ms. Bobak currently serves as a Member-At-Large for the Ohio Watershed Professionals Association, an appointed member of the Maumee River Scenic Advisory Council Board, a Resource Member of the Maumee Area of Concern Advisory Committee, and the former Chair of Toledo Metropolitan Council of Governments’ Watershed Committee.
