Bio
Ms. Hamill is a Registered Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She is a University of Pittsburgh graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering Technology and a minor in Mathematics. She has experience with solid waste, environmental, and geotechnical projects related to permitting, design, and field work.
Ms. Hamill has over 15 years of experience in solid waste engineering. She has been responsible for preparation and completion of various aspects of permitting for municipal and residual waste facilities, including stormwater control system design, slope stability analyses, landfill gas system design, leachate collection system design, NPDES permitting, construction specification preparation, and construction cost estimating. She has prepared application packages, calculations, reports, drawings, and other documentation for submittal to clients and regulatory agencies. Ms. Hamill has also lead construction quality assurance efforts on field projects including landfill soil and geosynthetic liner system construction and landfill gas well installations.
