Mr. Fields has over 20 years of civil site design, site development, design-build, commercial and heavy construction experience. His focus at CEC has been within the commercial construction and natural gas industries. Mr. Fields has designed and managed the construction of various types of projects including compressor and meter stations, natural gas well pads, fresh water impoundments and access roads for many of today’s energy producers. More recently, Mr. Fields has been involved in expanding CEC’s presence in the mining industry in the North Central Ohio area. Mr. Fields has designed and permitted a rail side yard project in PA that will offload and process aggregate materials. Prior to CEC Mr. Fields managed the design-build division for a general contracting firm located in Northeast Kentucky where he designed and constructed medical office buildings, commercial warehouse facilities, industrial spec buildings and production facilities. His experience includes site design, permitting, grading and earthwork analysis, hydraulics and hydrology, erosion and sediment control layout, storm water design, pavement evaluation, access road development, road construction and pond/ pit design. Mr. Fields has significant experience with respect to assembling bid documents, project estimating, contractor bid analysis, contract negotiations, constructability reviews, contractor selection, change order management, and material takeoffs. Mr. Fields often serves as the client representative during regulatory meetings, permit reviews, and project closeouts. His attention to detail and documentation have proven to be valuable assets to CEC’s clients.
