Bio

Mr. Zentmeyer’s 30+ years of experience include a diversified scope of environmental and geotechnical projects at sites located throughout the United States. Mr. Zentmeyer provides leadership and direction to environmental assessment and remediation and geotechnical engineering projects and assures that quality services are provided in a timely, cost-effective manner while also recognizing the best interests of the client. His primary focus is assessing and mitigating environmental risks posed by impacted soil, soil gas and groundwater using remediation, engineering controls and institutional controls, permitting, and regulatory interface, for a combination of commercial, industrial, municipal, state, and federal entities. Mr. Zentmeyer serves as the lead for CEC’s Technical Advisory Group for Vapor Intrusion and is the lead for CEC’s environmental practice in Cincinnati. Mr. Zentmeyer also has experience with environmental compliance and permitting, asbestos and lead-based paint, jurisdictional waters delineation and permitting, and storm water regulations. Geotechnical project experience includes explorations for lightly and heavily loaded structures, spread and deep foundation design and analysis, retaining walls, slope stability evaluation and repair, and pavement design. Mr. Zentmeyer has been responsible for conducting and managing these services at multiple sites in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana, where he is a licensed Professional Engineer, as well as throughout the United States. As a Certified Professional under Ohio’s Voluntary Action Program since 2002, Mr. Zentmeyer is experienced with brownfield redevelopment and regulatory implications. Mr. Zentmeyer has successfully completed brownfield projects in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Iowa and Texas.
