Ms. Vrabel is a senior ecologist with extensive experience in natural resource management and compliance, biological assessments, and planning and permitting. With 20-years of consulting experience, she joined CEC as an Ecological Practice Project Manager in 2023 and has experience with energy, mining, transportation, recreational, commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
She has worked across the United States and is well versed in Clean Water Act (CWA), Endangered Species Act (ESA), and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) regulations. Ms. Vrabel serves as project manager and permitting specialist on projects involving impacts to waters of the United States (WOTUS), as well as rare, threated, and endangered (RTE) species due diligence studies within the Midwest and other states. She has led and supported wetland and waterbody delineations, CWA Section 404/Rivers and Harbors Act (RHA) Section 10 permitting, Section 401 Water Quality Certifications, Individual Section 404/401 Permitting, After the Fact Section 404/401 Permitting, compensatory mitigation coordination, monitoring, and umbrella mitigation banking, regulatory agency coordination, NEPA documentation, RTE species evaluations, aquatic habitat evaluations, macroinvertebrate surveys, water quality sampling, vegetative community surveys, noxious and invasive weed inventories, and GIS mapping.
