Ms. Simkins has acted as an Ecologist and GIS Specialist, providing regulatory compliance, permitting consultation, ecological assessments and endangered/threatened species habitat surveys in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, North Dakota, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.

She has GIS experience on a wide variety of projects including: Ecological Surveys and Wetland Delineation, Botanical Surveys, Linear Utility Projects (ie. Natural Gas, Transmission Lines), Utility-Scale Solar Development and Risk Assessment Siting-Study, Stormwater Pollution Protection Plans, Historical Project Review\Phase I Survey Documentation, Geotechnical Engineering – Site and Boring Plans, Landslide Repair, Phase I\ Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, and Dam Breach/ Floodplain modeling.
