Mr. Ellis is a Senior Principal in the Environmental Practice with 30 years of assisting clients to resolve wide ranging complex environmental issues. Mr. Ellis’s diverse environmental consulting experience includes performance of environmental due diligence for individual properties or a portfolio or properties and business on behalf of sellers and buyers; environmental liability assessments including estimates for environmental reserves based upon USGAAP and IFRS and estimates for purchase price allocation for tax and financial reporting for mergers and acquisitions; multi-media environmental compliance assessments; site investigations including characterization of soil groundwater, sediment, soil vapor and indoor air; and, implementation of various remediation technologies to assist clients to obtain risk based closure criteria within federal and state regulatory frameworks in the US as well as various international locations in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
Mr. Ellis has extensive project experience regarding due diligence, environmental compliance, site investigation and remediation for multi-national companies at various locations around the world, including the Americas, Europe and Asia.
