Mike Singleton is a Vice President with CEC with over 30 years of diverse experience in engineering, construction, and development. He has experience in all facets of site development, planning, engineering, permitting and construction. He has served as a surveyor, construction inspector, designer, planner, project manager and construction manager on retail, residential, industrial, public works, commercial, environmental and ecological projects.
Mike is experienced in all aspects of construction, remediation, repairs, and land development projects, and has provided a broad scope of services to clients. He has performed feasibility studies, land acquisition analyses, preliminary design and construction analyses, erosion and sedimentation control design, earthwork and grading design, and storm water, sanitary, water and site utility facilities design and construction services. His project responsibilities range from survey work, permitting, design, project coordination, and construction management, to project closeout and occupancy on numerous projects in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia. In addition to land development services, Mike has extensive experience with wetlands mitigation construction, storm water infiltration facilities, golf course construction, mine reclamation, demolition, and landslide remediation projects.
For 17 years, Mike managed a mid-sized site-development, heavy construction firm in Western, PA. His responsibilities included client services in the form of site analyses, land acquisition services, engineering liaison, and general consulting. Additionally, he was responsible for all corporate operations including estimating, bidding, scheduling, construction management, subcontractor services, project management, regulatory communication, and construction coordination and oversight.
Recently, Mike has developed the Construction Management services at CEC. The construction management services include project investigations, project design and approach development, constructability reviews, cost estimating, bidding, and project construction management to completion.
