Mr. Hahn has over 30 years experience in regulatory compliance, having worked directly in the chemical and rubber manufacturing industries prior to joining CEC. He served as an Environmental Engineer with the Ohio EPA – Division of Surface Water, the Corporate Environmental Engineer for Cooper Tire & Rubber Company, the Director of Environmental Health, Safety & Security (EHSS) for Jones-Hamilton Co., and most recently as the Corporate EHSS Manager for Royal Adhesives & Sealants, LLC.

In his roles in the public and private sector, Mr. Hahn was/is responsible for interpreting and determining applicability of federal, state and local rules and regulations as they applied to facilities under his charge; securing applicable regulatory and governmental permits, registrations and approvals for his Company/client’s operating facilities; and ensuring that resources and/or programs were/are in place for continuous compliance. Mr. Hahn has in-depth hands-on experience in regulatory compliance auditing (environmental, health and safety, process safety management, management systems, transportation safety, etc.) and is considered a subject matter expert on: hazardous and universal waste management; OSHA’s Process Safety Management standard and EPA’s Risk Management Program; oil and hazardous substances spill prevention and preparedness; and industrial and NPDES discharge programs.
