Bio
Scott Johnson is an Environmental Scientist with more than 30 years of experience in the environmental consulting field. Throughout his career, he has performed and managed hundreds of Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Baseline Environmental Assessments (BEAs), EHS Compliance Evaluations and Audits, and the preparation of SPCC, SWPPP, PIPP, and ICP plans. He has also overseen EPCRA/SARA reporting and UST/LUST investigations across the United States and internationally. For over a decade, Scott has managed EHS staff of varying sizes and served as a Client Account Manager for numerous major multinational manufacturing and chemical-pharmaceutical companies.
His responsibilities have included procurement, direction, and oversight of environmental due diligence projects, compliance evaluations, audits, monitoring programs, and environmental permitting and reporting activities at client sites throughout the Midwest and other regions of the U.S. The majority of these projects have been for private sector industrial clients, including manufacturing, automotive OEMs and Tier I/II suppliers, chemical-pharmaceutical, oil and gas, power, and railroad sectors. Additional responsibilities have encompassed developing and managing new and existing client relationships, proposal scope development and cost estimating, mentoring junior staff, and conducting performance reviews.
