Bio

Steve is a licensed professional chemical engineer with more than 30 years of experience in engineering and environmental consulting for a variety of utilities, developers, institutions, and public agencies. Working with power developers, Steve has provided siting, licensing, and permitting support for large power plant and combined heat and power projects, ranging in size from 110 to 750 MW. As an air engineer, he prepares and negotiates operating and pre-construction air permit applications, including air emission inventories, RACT/BACT/LAER analyses, and investigations of new air pollution control technologies. Steve set up environmental compliance and recordkeeping systems, prepare reporting documents for agency submittals, prepare SPCC plans and SWPPPs, performs multimedia audits, SARA and Massachusetts TURA reporting. Lastly, he works on a variety of Health and Safety Projects, including Risk Management Planning, reviewing employee safety programs, and emergency response situations.
