Bio

Mr. Sousa is a registered professional engineer with experience in the geotechnical engineering industry. He earned a Masters of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University (2019) and a Bachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Roger Williams University (2014). He has extensive experience in construction, earthwork, and drilling oversight and has performed several geotechnical analyses including dewatering, settlement, slope stability, site-specific seismic and liquefaction analyses, shallow and deep foundation design, and support of excavation design. He has written geotechnical reports of varying complexity and routinely manages field staff for geotechnical related and code-mandated special inspections projects. He has worked all over the eastern US on various sites with challenging soil and rock conditions.
