Mr. Speiser has served as a project manager, task manager and field team leader for environmental investigations and remediation phases at hundreds of sites, including ASTM international-compliant Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) at suspected release sites, ODOT-compliant Phase I and II ESAs along transportation improvement areas, and brownfield redevelopment sites. Additionally, Mr. Speiser has significant experience with Underground Storage Tank (UST) investigations and closures. He has a comprehensive understanding of the Bureau of Underground Storage Tank Regulations (BUSTR), Ohio EPA Voluntary Action Program (VAP) regulations, ODOT ESA guidelines, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) laws and regulations, as well as municipal and residual waste regulations. Additionally, Mr. Speiser has experience with GIS software, survey grade global positioning systems (GPS), seismometers, resistivity sensors, and numerous styles and brands of water quality meters and sampling techniques. He has assisted in various environmental studies including hydrogeological investigations for landfill expansions and site development, fish sampling, threatened and endangered species surveys, mussel surveys, soil remediation projects and stream design.
