The Chronicle-Telegram (Elyria, Ohio) reports Lorain City Council has placed a contractor at the helm of a cleanup to ensure contaminated material is removed from a site and made ready for residential development. The contract with Civil and Environmental Consultants Inc. for $304,500 will be paid via a grant awarded to the Lorain County Landbank.
