The Progress (Beeville, TX) reports the McMullen County Commissioners Court met Dec. 8 and addressed several items, including a land purchase and an evaluation of a proposed water well in Calliham. Commissioners authorized an additional $33,000 in services with Civil and Environmental Consultants, Inc. for hydrogeologic assessment of the proposed Calliham Water Well to confirm water quality before drilling.
