Owner Objective

Flaherty & Collins, LLC, one of the largest multi-family developers in the Midwest, retained Chicago architecture firm RTKL Associates, Inc. for a new development in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. Located at Market Street and Alabama Street, 360 Market Square is a 27-story mixed-use residential luxury apartment tower that will include 320 luxury apartments. The development, at nearly 300 feet tall, will feature a 40,000 square foot Whole Foods Market®, a 2,500 square foot Starbucks, and a 525-space parking garage.

CEC Approach

CEC provided surveying and civil engineering services for the development and assisted with permitting and approvals throughout the design process, including obtaining Regional Center Approval. CEC coordinated extensively with City of Indianapolis staff and local utility providers as the project includes stormwater detention and water quality treatment in a tight space along Market Street. CEC also coordinated with Context Design, LLC on the streetscape design, which includes decorative pavers and high-quality planter areas, and has assisted Flaherty & Collins with construction surveying and civil engineering coordination during construction.
