On November 27, CECWomen welcomed its inaugural guest speaker, Tacy Byham, chief executive officer of Development Dimensions International, Inc. (DDI). Tacy’s talk “Ignite Your Impact” was open to all CEC employees.
DDI is a leading consultancy with clients in 93 countries and more than 1,000 associates. In addition to overseeing the organization’s day-to-day operations, Tacy is spearheading DDI’s increased strategic focus on its core of leadership insight and growth. During her more than 20 years at DDI, Tacy has led multiple strategic initiatives, including the creation of DDI’s Executive Development Practice and award-winning frontline leader development programs.
Tacy is the co-author of the book Your First Leadership Job: How Catalyst Leaders Bring Out the Best in Others, and she also has written multiple book chapters and blogs on various leadership topics. She earned a B.A. in mathematics and computer science from Mount Holyoke College and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in industrial/organizational psychology from the University of Akron.
