Monroeville Donates to American Red Cross Disaster Relief

January 21, 2019

Every year, Monroeville holds a charitable donation at their holiday lunch with a mixture of team games: Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, Family Feud, and a rebus puzzle (combining pictures and letters to form words/phrases), wherein the participants donate game money. The winning team gets to choose the charity that receives the donation. This year, for the first time, the teams tied! It was decided to allow Mark Sokalski (from Team 2) to choose the charity to receive the $350 donation because he was retiring on January 2. He chose American Red Cross Disaster Relief for the 2018 Hurricane Florence, Hurricane Michael, and California wildfire relief efforts.
