Steve Casey, CEC’s Water Resources practice lead, has received the Dr. Bruce Tschantz Lifetime Achievement Award from the Tennessee Stormwater Association (TNSA). The TNSA announced its 2020 “Exceptional Quality” Award Winners in October at the annual membership meeting, which takes place on the final day of the TNSA annual conference. The award winner is nominated by peers and then voted on by the TNSA Board.
Steve worked with Dr. Bruce Tschantz on the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation Erosion Prevention and Sediment Control Handbook from 2010-2011. Bruce then selected Steve to take over his teaching responsibilities with the TDEC Level 2 class in 2013.
The Dr. Bruce Tschantz Lifetime Achievement Award is TNSA’s highest honor for outstanding, longtime stormwater professionals with a minimum of 20 years of service. These individuals’ long-term contributions have made a noticeable impact on stormwater management efforts in the State of Tennessee.
