Tom Meeks and Mike Jackson of CEC Phoenix recently hosted clients at the 11th Annual Arizona Diamondbacks Celebrity Golf Classic, A Salute to Veterans. The unique golf event was played at Whirlwind Golf Club and paired golf foursomes with a current or former Diamondbacks player or coach.
This year, Team CEC was thrilled to be paired up with Shea Hillenbrand, a two-time All Star who played for the Diamondbacks in 2003-2004, among other MLB teams during his career. Their guests included Mike Krentz, President of Davis Architects, and Chuck Carefoot, President of Ryan Companies US, Inc. Southwest Region.
The golf classic was hosted by the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation and benefited veterans groups such as the USO and Folds of Honor. Tom has served on the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation Executive Council since 2010. The foundation raised $200,000 at this year’s golf classic and has raised more than $75 million since 1998, in addition to investing more than $10 million to build or refurbish 43 baseball and softball fields.
CEC is proud to have this partnership with the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation as we work together to donate our time and design expertise and give back to our community.
