Fernando Camargo, CEC Toledo‘s Civil Engineering practice lead, was recently named 2022 President of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Toledo section. ASCE Toledo is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year and will be planning multiple events throughout the year to commemorate the occasion. According to Fernando, the theme of the events “will generally involve celebrating the past, updating the present, and looking to the future.”
Fernando joined CEC Toledo in August of 2020 and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Ohio and West Virginia. He graduated from the University of Sao Paulo in Brazil in 2004 and has been involved with ASCE since 2006. He has served on the Toledo ASCE board since 2019 and was previously 1st and 2nd Vice President.
