CEC Pittsburgh welcomes Andy Nickodem to the team as a Senior Principal in our Waste Management practice.

Andy has 35 years of experience in the waste management industry in the construction, design, operation, compliance, and permitting of landfills, transfer stations, and other support facilities. He has also provided financial analysis, planning, litigation support, expert witness testimony, acquisition due diligence, and market development analysis for various facilities throughout the U.S. Andy has worked on more than 100 public and private facilities in more than 30 states and several other countries.  He will provide solid waste market based leadership to assist in expanding service opportunities to CEC locations in Arizona, California, Oklahoma and Texas.  

Andy earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin and is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois and Wisconsin.

Andy enjoys time in the outdoors with his wife Connie and two adult daughters, Alyssa and Colette. Outdoor activities include hiking, hunting, fishing, downhill and cross-country skiing, water skiing, and kayaking.
