Lindsey Angell, P.E., joins CEC Sacramento as a Principal in our Waste Management practice. Lindsey has more than 11 years of experience as a professional civil engineer managing solid waste, mining, and environmental projects for the private and public sectors in California, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.

Lindsey specializes in vertical and horizontal landfill expansions, geotechnical investigations, slope stability analyses, public work contracts, landfill permitting, landfill design, and more. In her previous role, she actively oversaw dozens of projects while managing over $10 million in annual revenue as a practice lead. Lindsey also currently serves on the California Geotechnical Association Board of Directors as a Director at Large.

Lindsey has a master’s degree in geotechnical engineering from California State University. She is a licensed professional engineer in California and Nevada. In addition to the California Geotechnical Association, Lindsey is a member of the Solid Waste Association of North America and Women in Solid Waste & Recycling.

Office Lead Darrell Thompson, a solid waste engineer specializing in landfill gas operations and maintenance, has 28 years of experience, 24 of which have been focused on helping clients in California. Darrell and his team are actively building CEC’s presence in San Diego as well. Together, the team will utilize their relationships in California to help CEC grow while supporting relationships with our existing clients.
