CEC Charlotte is pleased to welcome Anna Schorr as a Principal in our Environmental practice.
Anna brings more than 20 years of experience in environmental science and sustainability leadership, with a strong background in regulatory compliance, ISO 14001 implementation, risk assessment, and sustainability reporting. She earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Emory University.
Anna’s career includes extensive work in environmental compliance and permitting for complex industrial operations, as well as due diligence for multi-million-dollar acquisitions. She has successfully directed projects across diverse sectors, including iron and steel, utilities, oil and gas, renewable energy, and automotive manufacturing. Anna is recognized for her ability to deliver strategic solutions that ensure compliance, reduce risk, and advance sustainability initiatives.
Her proven leadership and technical expertise will enhance our ability to provide comprehensive environmental services to clients throughout the region. We are excited to have her join our team and look forward to the contributions she will make to our practice.

Founded in August 2011, CEC’s Charlotte office is rooted in partnership between mutual colleagues and a desire to expand operations to the Carolinas. CEC Charlotte’s staff of 40+ professionals has a broad spectrum of expertise in air quality, civil engineering, ecological sciences, environmental engineering and sciences, waste management, and water resources.
