Over the past 10 years, CEC Greenville has grown from a two‑person environmental compliance team into a multi‑disciplinary office serving the Southeast. We’ve expanded our services, delivered impactful projects, grown our team by more than 800%, invested in new space, strengthened our culture, and deepened our commitment to the Upstate community. A decade in, our growth tells a powerful story.
Here’s a glimpse into what makes CEC Greenville and our 10th anniversary so special.
Our Expertise in Markets and Practices
- When our office opened in 2016, environmental compliance was the primary service offered. Fast forward to 2026 and we have added a strong civil engineering team, environmental due diligence, NEPA, and other complementary environmental services, professional survey services, and landscape architecture.
- Our client base, market expertise, and immersion into the community have grown, and relationships have strengthened over the past 10 years as we strive to support economic growth in the Upstate.
- In the Greenville office, we feel it is important to be actively present in the community, to participate in, and sponsor local professional organizations, such as the Greenville, Anderson, and Easley chambers of commerce, Upstate Alliance, Greenville Area Development Corp., Greenville Economic Development Corporation, Ten at the Top, Commercial Women in Real Estate (CREW), and One Spartanburg, only to name a few!
- Our office services the entire Southeastern Region of the United States, including North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, and Alabama.
Our Projects

Our Growth
- The Greenville office started with two employees and has grown over 800% in the last 10 years. We are now standing with 22 dedicated staffers.
- We moved to a new office location at 777 Lowndes Hill Road in October 2023. The office meets our current and future needs for our growing office, with a location that is more convenient for our clients,
Our Culture
