CEC Sacramento welcomes James Eisert, P.G., CHG, as a Principal in our Environmental Engineering and Sciences practice.
James is a California-licensed Professional Geologist and Certified Hydrogeologist with more than 30 years of experience in environmental consulting. His background includes site investigations, remediation, hydrogeology, landfill compliance, and regulatory coordination across California and the western United States.
He most recently served in a senior leadership role where he managed multidisciplinary teams and supported complex environmental programs for public- and private-sector clients. His work has involved coordination with agencies such as the U.S. EPA, CalRecycle, DTSC, and regional water quality control boards.
James has extensive experience in groundwater monitoring and remediation, hazardous and solid waste management, and long-term compliance programs. He has also led large-scale wildfire recovery and emergency response efforts, overseeing environmental assessment and cleanup activities across thousands of sites.
In addition to his technical work, he has managed major programs and contracts, supported regulatory strategy, and worked closely with clients to navigate complex environmental requirements.
At CEC, James will support the growth of the environmental practice in California, with a focus on groundwater, landfill, and remediation services, as well as client and project leadership across the region.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in geology from the University of California, Davis and a master’s degree in hydrogeology from the University of Nevada, Reno.
About Sacramento
Established in September of 2021, CEC’s Sacramento office expanded our operations to California. CEC’s team will utilize their relationships in California to help CEC grow while establishing their own relationships with our existing clients from this new base.
