Bill Acton
William Acton provides regulatory, development, environmental, site selection, project management and due diligence expertise to clients in the Real Estate Development, Mining and the Oil and Gas EP&D industries. Mr. Acton has more than 15 years' experience in ecological and environmental services including NPDES permitting, sustainable development planning, stormwater quality management and due diligence consulting, Section 401 and 404 Clean Water Act permitting, wetland and stream mitigation, Rosgen and natural stream channel design. He manages multiple concurrent projects and frequently coordinates multi-disciplinary services including environmental, geotechnical, field monitoring, engineering and site planning tailored to the needs of each site development project. Mr. Acton has completed over 800 surface water related projects. His diversified capabilities include riparian and lacustrine wetland restoration and creation, storm water management and permitting, flood management, compensatory mitigation planning, site surface water management planning, geotechnical engineering, and surface water permitting of all types.

Mr. Thomas has over 20 years of consulting experience with transportation, mining, industrial, municipal, energy, private and commercial clients. His project focus has been natural resource assessments, wetland and stream delineations, jurisdictional determinations, 404/401 permitting with the US Army Corp of Engineers (USACE), NC Division of Water Resources (NCDWR), South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC) verification for wetland and stream impacts, compliance monitoring, and consultations with a variety of other local, state, and federal entities. Mr. Thomas is a North Carolina and South Carolina Licensed Soil Scientist and Certified Professional Wetland Scientist. His technical skills include wetland and stream identification using the NC Surface Water Identification Method, North Carolina Stream Buffer Impact Training, wetland and stream assessment utilizing the NC Stream Assessment & NC Wetland Assessment Method and delineation, Erosion and Sediment Control inspection and monitoring, threatened and endanger species habitat functional assessments, mitigation design, protected Threatened and Endangered Species surveys, environmental constraint analysis including Natural Heritage Program and States Cultural Resources reviews, subcontractor supervision, technical writing, and construction compliance monitoring.

Mr. Geho is a Project Manager with more than twenty years of experience in environmental investigation, permitting, and regulatory compliance for multiple industry sectors, with a focus on energy projects.  His diverse experience spans several Midwestern states and includes environmental studies and environmental permitting for a wide variety of projects including FERC-regulated and non-FERC regulated natural gas infrastructure (e.g., pipelines, production and storage wells, metering stations, and compressor stations); liquids pipelines; linear transportation infrastructure; residential developments; industrial cleanups/redevelopments; coal and aggregate surface mining facilities; and, habitat restoration projects.  He and his team have extensive experience with documentation and coordination required to obtain permits and clearances in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act, the Clean Water Act, the Endangered Species Act, the National Historic Preservation Act, and associated state/local regulatory programs.
