In Chicago, fifteen employees and family members participated in the annual DuPage County River Sweep. This is a county-wide stream cleanup and restoration event during which volunteers help “sweep our rivers clean” by picking up debris in and along the branches of the DuPage River and restoring nearby land back to its natural state. This year’s totals are not yet available, but last year’s event drew over 800 volunteers with a collection of nine tons of debris! The Chicago office team worked at the McDowell Grove site. Participating were Tanya Chuprikova and her significant other, Max Schaper, Doug McClintic, Bruce Dumdei and his wife Karen, Beth Schwartz and her sons Kyle and Kevin, and Brad Renwick. Not pictured: Emalee Doyle and her two sons, and Luis Torres-Aguilera and his son.
