Erin Willson and Michelle McCloud of the CEC Boston office visited two elementary schools to present on landfills to kindergartners and first graders. They talked about how landfills are built, what goes into them, and what happens to them once they close. Erin and Michelle also built mini-landfills with the kids and then built a fish tank-sized landfill that the kids could then keep in the classroom for the rest of the year.
