CEC is committed to social distancing mitigation measures with regard to coronavirus as identified by the Centers for Disease Control  and Prevention  (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), so all of our spring courses will be held as free webinars. When the CDC and the WHO lift social distancing mitigation measures, we will hold the courses in person.

 

CEC/ETC Air Permitting Basics

Air Permitting Basics

You’ll learn basic federal and state air permitting requirements for major and minor construction permits and major and minor operating permits. The course is custom-made for the local market and state requirements. We discuss how to avoid Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) and Non-attainment New Source Review (NANSR) permits.

You’ll earn 0.8 Continuing Education Unit.

 

CEC/ETC Clean Water Act and NPDES OverviewClean Water Act and NPDES Overview

You’ll learn the basics of water regulations, including National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) plans; Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP); and Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans. We cover regulations at the federal level and the state level.

This course will break down the myriad and often confusing monitoring, recordkeeping, and reporting requirements during construction, operation, or permit close-out for well pads or facilities such as compressor stations, interconnects, and metering sites.

CEC/ETC Introduction to OSHA Regulatory RequirementsIntroduction to OSHA Regulatory Requirements

You’ll learn basic Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulatory requirements for safe work practices, employee training, chemical exposure and monitoring, chemical right-to-know labeling (for hazard communication), and ergonomic issues. This course will also highlight interactions with OSHA for both inspections and compliance.
