We’re pleased to share the news that after eight years with CEC, Todd Gingerich, P.E., CFM, has moved into the office lead role for CEC Charlotte and has been named a vice president within the firm. Todd stepped into the role in mid-August, taking over for Scott Brown, P.E., who led the office for nine years before moving into a regional operations position.

Todd is a civil engineer with more than 20 years of experience providing consulting services for projects throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. In addition to providing design services to commercial, retail, residential, and municipal and private solid waste clients, he recently completed Camp Cedar Creek at Keowee-Toxaway State Park, a signature project for the South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation & Tourism.
“We have built a great team here in the Charlotte office, and I’m looking forward to continuing to serve our clients throughout the Southeast,” Todd notes.
“Todd has been instrumental to the growth of the Charlotte office since its inception. He is the best person to carry on the CEC culture of client-focused service in an environment that allows employees to grow their career,” added Scott Brown.

Todd is a Florida native who has resided in Charlotte since 2006. He is a member of the Southeast Stormwater Association and the Catawba Lands Conservancy Land Acquisition Committee. A registered professional engineer in four states, Todd is a Certified Floodplain Manager through the Association of State Floodplain Managers and a Level II Certified Design Professional through the Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission.
