Group from CEC Pittsburgh Completes St. Barnabas 5K

August 9, 2021

A group from CEC Pittsburgh recently participated in the St. Barnabas Free Care 5K in Gibsonia, Pennsylvania. Proceeds from the race benefitted the St. Barnabas Free Care Fund, which affords $7 million in care to patients and residents each year.

Don Groesser, Eduardo Intriago, Nichole Marsh, Steve Menoff, Bill Moldovan, and Charles Wertz of our Pittsburgh office participated in the event, which featured 378 total finishers. First-place male and female finishers received $250, second-place finishers earned $150, and third-place finishers won $100. Prizes were also awarded to the top fundraisers.

CEC is proud to have been a sponsor of the event, which celebrated its 30th anniversary of raising money for the Free Card Fund and providing a USA Track & Field-certified race for competitive and amateur runners, joggers, walkers, teams, stroller pushes, and wheelchair racers.
